EFD is engaged in quality of life enhancing projects in some of the worlds most vulnerable areas. Here you can take part of our current projects.

School kit

In total there are approx. 3 million refugees in Iraq. The majority of these are in Northern Iraq and are mostly women and children. There is a great need to normalize everyday life, not least in terms of education, therefore we want to ensure that children get better conditions for their studies.

Oral Rehydration

According to UNHCR, about 1.5 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in northern Iraq. Most of the refugees are children, because half of the Iraqi population is under 18 years. A majority of the refugees are suffering from life-threatening dehydration and diarrhea. Today there are effective and simple solutions to treat dehydration, in the form of oral rehydration.
